Wishlist thread

The holidays are here and I was thinking of starting a Wishlist thread. Simply a place where people can post their wishlists and then if other people want to grant a wish or two, they can. No expectations, just a thread of wishlists. But before I did this I wanted to be sure it would be okay.

So… Correct me if I'm reading this wrong: You're asking if it's kosher to make a post where you and others can write out holiday wishlists? If so, I see no problem with this.

And I think that if some devoted member wants to spend money and send you a toy/gift card/car/whatever, more power to them. Perhaps you may want to consider setting up a gift exchange if your goal is to actually acquire items from your holiday wishlists from members of the community.

To be clear, this is obviously not a sanctioned corporate event and the administration has nothing to do with this, so I think that you are fine to go right ahead. People write out holiday lists and publish them online all the time. I see no difference here.

Yes, that's pretty much. Nothing official, just a thread where people post links to their wishlists and if anyone wants to send them something, great! No expectations of receiving anything, just putting the wishlists out to the universe. Thank you. I'll go start the thread.

Hey, just in case it was posted and I missed them, what were the winners for shaoman awards? I know there was a million way tie for second in the theme awards, is there going to be a tiebreaker round?
