Oh way back in the day, when I first starting using online names I started using AXIS. I was pretty into Sara Douglas' Axis trilogy.

Must have been in about 2000 I suppose, maybe even 1999.

Went as a simple AXIS for many years until they changed the tarvalon forum rules to where everyone had to have a last name as well.

I forget who, but when I wouldn't choose someone said "I'm going to make it Trout" if you don't pick a name

(I was known for giving people the old :trout as often as possible)

So I figured why not, and m'Troutilas become the last time


I still really think of myself as just Axis though.

My RL name is often mispronounced, Lara, often pronounced Lora or shudders Lay-ra, so I added an -elle at the end to try to minimize mispronunciation. Susan is my middle name and I LOVE it (after an aunt) and I have a cousin named Andrea so I stole the ending and added it to Susan.

Ashara comes from the Persian word "Ashera" meaning "she who walks in the ocean. I am a Pisces and love water and the ocean.

Koh'inor comes from the Persian word "Kohinoor" which means "Mountain of Light"

A few years ago, I was looking for a new Teen Wolf RP to join, and found one. The role I wanted wasn't available, so I applied for the next best option for myself. Going further back... I had a seizure that resulted in memory loss, and I still remember things out of nowhere. Because of my attention to detail, I relearned a lot about myself as I tried to make sure I was playing Lydia "correctly" in the game I was part of. My best friend refers to me as 'Actual Lydia Martin' (it's even programmed that way into her phone) because I have so much in common with the character. Playing Lydia woke me up to being a better version of myself, one that I had actually forgotten existed. That, combined with some other details I don't want to get into just yet, made me feel like Lydia Martin is a great username for me here.

I had this friend who started to call me La Belle... Because I loved this nickname I decided to use it as my name,
I added Maighenn a few years later. I think I might stumble upon this surname at a Celtic name site.

I picked 'Leo' because I used to be obsessed with Charmed and Leo was one of my favourite characters. I used it on another site (Realm of TV) and recycled it here. I have no idea where Kian came from

Juliya is an easy and WoT-sounding variant of Julia which is my real name and Karasu I picked on a whim from the Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery game (Tulip Karasu is a character) because it's Japanese and I love all things Japanese!

Also Leo Sedai, I love the name Leo, just putting that out there. A Japanese variant is Rio which I also really like.
