I mentioned in my introduction post that I found this site through a Twitter spiral. Well, while I was free-falling through that, I noticed a lot of people were sharing these anime characters they had created to look like them. So like the sheep I am, I did what everyone else was doing and made one (except I didn't make mine to look like me). I like the way it turned out

Also way back when, wasn't there a picture list to choose from on the site? So this one, no idea where it came from but I fell in love with it.

My avatar is Delirium from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, a character I absolutely adore and like her incarnation in Brief Lives, we're both pale with crazy red hair. I relate to her a lot but I'd like to think I have better taste in ice cream (delicious though chicken and telephone flavour might be, it's not for me!)

The long hair is the biggest perk of the image I’m using. While I wish the one with red hair was the original, I’ll use the artist’s work and not change to suit my whims as she’s given me permission to use it’s an avatar. It’s something as a tagger I appreciate her allowing and respect hugely having been through the copyright awareness debacle back in 2006-2007 when artists started suing taggers for copyright infringement. Since then I’ve spent countless thousands on tubes and respected artist wishes to not alter work when asked
