In books 1-4, what is your favorite tear jerker (sad part) you like best.

At the end of TDR, after Perrin saves Faile from the dream world and he returns to the inn and she's there with him, he says, "My falcon." That part got me pretty good. Not really sad, but definitely got me a little misty-eyed.

I agree Iri, that was so sad! The real tear jerker for me was when Perrin found out he had a cousin still alive

I haven't reached the point where I witnessed any sad moments... book one is building up excitement.

You have a lot of great things to read in the next books Eccadairius!

Yup, what Irinia said! I just started Book 4 for the second time and it's keeping me up way past my bedtime!

I think Ingtar's death really stands out for me as one of the best sad moments in the first 4 books.

Also I read some of book 4 last night , and I have to say...the part where Perrin tells Faile to get lost so she doesn't follow him to the Two rivers is sad :(

Hmmm...I would say probably Nynaeve's Accepted test, when she is experiencing the possible future.

Of course, Perrin's scene in the Winespring Inn is objectively the saddest.

I'm right there with you, Irinia. When Perrin finds out about his family is gut-wrenching.

One of the most poignant moments for me is the scene in front of the Winespring, where Moiraine tells the story of Mantheren.

I can't remember it exactly now - but doesn't he take the fact that his family is dead pretty stoically in the beginning, and then later has a gut-wrenching breakdown?

Ah, that was one of my favorite Faile scenes (and generally I really disliked Faile), even if it was so sad.

Yeah Its weird. I really Like her! LOL She is a mean person most of the time, But it strangely comes from a place of love. If she were a guy I think most people would appreciate her more because they would just decscribe her as "gruff"? LOL But yeah Perrin breaking down was spot on I thought! Horrible. I might cry right now actually...
