I wonder why you can't see it Lenore Do you mean you can see other stuff on Buzzfeed?
Valinor would be pretty perfect. For some reason I like the idea of living in a place where a fight for something good is still going on, and Valinor seems like it might be too perfect? I suppose it would depend on how close/involved you were to/with the fight though. Oh, and I'm an overthinker
Atlantis as in the new BBC show?
The page won't load the quiz for me either I can see the others, just like Lenore Sedai.
I got Bespin. I'd be ok with that.
The quiz gave me Atlantis..not bad!I have always liked mythology.
My personal choices are the Harry Potter and the WOT worlds.
Like Leira, I also got the Cloud City. Meh, I love Star Wars, but I want somewhere with more nature. I thought about mentioning the Beta Colony from MacMaster Bujold's books, which would be perfect in every aspect but that. I need open spaces. I tend to get claustrophobic
(One can tell I've put too much thought into this, right? )
I don't know... I just thought it meant the sunken city from mythology.
I got Hogsmeade.
I'm not sure which book I'd like to live in.... that's a hard decision, just about any one. I'd love Tortall, or the world from the Paksenarrion books, or LotR, or the Commonwealth from Alan Dean Foster.... the list goes on.
The quiz gave me cloud city for some reason. But I think I would enjoy valinor far more.
Eternal youth, singing, good food, love, books, nature, magic, learning a craft... Yes please!
What the heck! I got Kings Landing? Hell no!
If I could choose how I lived, I would probably choose Harry Potter or The Tower and Hive series.
I got Cloud City as well.
There are too many world I wish I could live in to list.
I dunno. I like comforts and social egality, so most fantasy realms are out of the questions, unless they're essentially magitech. I suppose Valinor - being a kind of earthly paradise - works, but they're still socially highly stratified. Also, Tolkien's sexual moral kind of restricts my urges.
I was thinking, and although I'm not a Trekkie by any means, the Federation sounds like a nice place. It's an optimistic sci-fi world that seems reasonably fair. It counts, cos' I know there are a metric ton of Star Trek books. I assume a fair few of them are pretty bad, but that's beside the point.
Just don't give me a ridiculous bumpy rubber forehead.
Wheel of Time.... all day, every day. I don't care where I start or what I start as.. Im not finishing until Im the Dragon ( false or otherwise). You gotta be a do'er after all...
You saying you would want to be a Dragon just got me thinking... why would someone claim to be the Dragon if they can't channel? Wouldn't everyone know it was false?
I am a history geek so I would have to take over Laura Ingalls childhood and live during that time .
I loved reading this! I don't want to live in any of my favourite books, they are all set before electricity was invented Although I might be able to adapt to Anne of Green Gables, it seems to peaceful.
Such A hard question as It would really depend on what my Social level was!
BUT... If I could choose my social level I would probably Live in Our own World based on Le' Morte D'Arthur .
Being a Knight in Arthurian Literature would be awesome
BUT....Also A Channler in WOT would be sweet too...
