Haha! Amina Coram, I didn't even notice until after it was re-quoted by the Mayor. To be fair, no one else bothered either.

So, I have a funny story about titles. My husband was a senior member before me. So, not only did I have to Gaidin him while we were dating IRL and on the boards, he turned me into the Mistress of Novices because I trouted him. I had to do penance and such. (Granted, I liked penance). Still, I was super mad.

Than one time, when I was already an Aes Sedai, we had a boards migration. Toral was an admin at that time already, I think. Head Librarian. I was just my usual green self. We were married already, too. So, in the migration of the boards, his title got set to recruit.

and guess what I did?

In the brilliant moment of realization I screamed, "You have to Sedai me RIGHT NOW. My rank is higher than yours. You will address me as Ne'Mireth Sedai. Right NOW."

And he did. Which was awesome. It's a good job I'm quick witted like that, because his title was back to normal pretty much within the next two minutes.

:dance

Mejjad Martnandi, bare with me. I will find a way to turn this thread into the proper "get to know me and I get to know you" thread. You'll see. I'm tricky like that. Years of practice. Aes Sedai tricks and such.

Georgia is not too far. I wonder how long of a drive that is. I might fly there, if we go.

NOT taking the kids, though. Is the registration open yet?

Today I am again avoiding work, and also family stress, by spending my time here. :P

Registration is open, and I think we've been on the waiting list stage for a while, but any of those who haven't made a deposit by January 3rd have their spots cancelled. So if you definitely know you want to go, January 3rd is the time to get in on the action. ;)

I am avoiding registering for my second class for this semester. I just don't want to go through this hell again. Work, two kids, husband, Zumba classes (teacher) and full time master's work is just too much. It's making me depressed.

Having two weeks off for the holidays and 10 days out of those off work has been so nice. So nice.

I'm viciously avoiding going to sleep early. I should have been in bed an hour ago. Why? I have to be up at 4 am. Why? I'm training for a half-marathon and before work is the best time for me to squeeze in the training.

*sigh*

this is also my replacement for a social life. *introverted* :look:

4 am? :brown-blink: Rahiliana, I admire you :bow

I'm... avoiding going back to a really dry book about semantics. The bad thing about the part that I have to read is that it's the worst part of the book in my opinion, and it can't be skipped. :(

avoiding going to sleep as well. Not for anything nefarious, like a marathon or anything. Just on general principle.

Thanks, Theo Sedai. I just know if I exercise after work I'm cranky. Before work I'm happy. :)

ooooo semantics. Are you majoring/minoring in linguistics??

Thanks, Luna :) Are you majoring/minoring in linguistics as well?

Not linguistics - Scandinavian Languages, Literatures and Cultures (if that's what I'm supposed to write; I don't know, Luna might be able to help :cheeseeni:) Cognitive semantics is a part of our "Scandinavian" classes - it's not that bad, just too abstract for my liking :P
