That is SO TRUE Arinna. I think the only thing it really serves as the catalyst for is , which is admittedly a big deal, but I feel like something else could just as easily trigger that anyway.

Yes - especially since they already changed the catalyst for his hatred of violence, why not also this?
It would have to be some sort of major event, though, and I worry that what they come up with will affect other plot lines...

So, I was thinking that I want Bain, Chiad and Gaul in the show or equivalents of theirs somehow. There needs to be a fun way to show the Aiel relationship and especially the Maidens' relationships with men

Also, a conversation in Discord made me think what would happen if Morgase is not in the show... She does not seem like a vital character And if we're skipping the whole Shaido plot, she does not really need to be in Perrin's camp to help Faile escape. I don't really remember what other major points she's had, but that could just be my morning, non caffeinated yet, brain.

Morgase's entire arc, through her being Compulsed by Rahvin and then escape, and her adventures in Amadicia is really just an uninteresting sideplot that doesn't get relevant until she meets Perrin. I think most of that will be skipped...

Yeah honestly I HOPE it will be skipped. I hope that she just dies cleanly in the fall of Caemlyn and Elayne can get to her arc. It's still entirely possible for Gawyn and Galad to be motivated by their anger at her death too.

I think Gawyn and Galad are necessary, vital characters and I'm excited to see them.

There's no way all 13 forsaken are gonna be there, so which ones are out?
Obvious keepers: Ishamael (already seen), Lanfear,
Aginor and Balthamel are out.
Be'lal either out or combined with Rahvin (he flees Tear and sets up in Andor). Maybe smush Sammael in there as well.
Asmodean could be replaced with Logain as a teacher
Graendal AND Semirhage AND Mesaana seem overkill, I bet we only get 1-2 of those.
And yeah I'm gonna say it, Demandred was useless until the last book. I would laugh so so hard if they actually do make Mazrim Taim be Demandred.

It would be a major change from the books, but on the bright side Siuan could give her "romance" with Gareth to Leane and take Thom's place in rescuing Moiraine. (It would make more sense than the story that Thom and Moiraine suddenly fell madly in love with each other)

Moghedien is for sure a major antagonist for the supergirls in the middle part of the story. I can't imagine cutting her. Unless they replace/merge her with Liandrin, which... is possible.

I can definitely see them cutting out some of the Fain stuff. It's so peripheral to most of the main story (stories). I feel like all the things he influences/does could be motivated by/done by someone/thing else.

I definitely wouldn't mind, I skip those chapters all the time, I honestly find his whole thing to be very annoying
