I saw that Airbnb is accepting 'reservations' that people can make for Ukraine refugees.
From what little research I did, it appears they have also waived fees for these particular reservations as well, and the money goes to the actual people that are hosting and helping the refugees.

If anyone else has a good organization that's helping in that area please share the link! :)

This is a bundle of nearly a thousand games, tabletop games, books and all kinds of cool stuff that's very close to raising $5 million - do some good, get some good stuff because of it.

If you speak Russian or Ukrainian (or any other language in an area dealing with crisis), you can volunteer to help with Respond Crisis' translation team: https://respondcrisistranslation.org/en/get-involved I've heard good things about them from a friend who's worked with them.

Another easy thing you can do is run a Tor snowflake browser to help people in Russia get around internet censorship. This is important because it's one of the only ways Russian citizens can access real news about the war: https://www.zdnet.com/article/tor-s...into-a-proxy-for-users-in-censored-countries/ It's as easy as installing a browser extension or just keeping a tab open in your browser. It uses your bandwidth, so if you have limited data you wouldn't want to do this.

Some of you know that I've been volunteering with an international high school exchange program since 2017. I have a particular love for students from Eastern Europe, and I often work students from former Soviet republics whose exchange program is paid for by the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Scholarship sponsored by the US State Department. I've supported/supervised three students from Ukraine over the years and met many others through the exchange program.

Several of my former students are part of the FLEX Alumni program in Ukraine, which in normal years is very active in volunteering, teaching English, and local community-focused efforts. Now those same Alumni are organizing a virtual event on April 11 to help people around the world understand what is happening in Ukraine right now AND to share ways that people everyone can help.

Here is the information that was shared with me by a former student of mine, Sasha:
