Hello, my family- I've tried to think about what to say here, and it all just kind of jumbles together, so pardon the potential rambliness. Jaim passed away Thursday, February 28th, after an all too short but fierce battle with bile duct cancer. We told very few people at all, as at the beginning we were very hopeful about treatment, and even at the end we hung on until the Creator called him home. Jim and I recently celebrated 12 years married on the 17th, and found each other through the Tower, which has been our other home for even longer. We have three beautiful daughters who remind me that love is still possible even when times are darkest. I see his smile, his laugh, and his immeasurable heart in all of them, and they make me proud. For those that have inquired, his memorial is Thursday evening (3/7) at 7pm, so if you feel so inclined, think good thoughts or maybe raise a glass of whatever you like in his honor- he loved this community (especially spamming it) and I will always be grateful for the love it has shown us in return. Be kind to each other- hold your loved ones close and be grateful for every day you have with them, as life is unpredictable and fleeting. I love you all.
