i think Egwene is one of the few characters who actually underwent change rather than just showing up in the next book acting completely out of character, which is why I like her the best. Her and Rand both had the same kind of journey character wise. Not the same begining or outcome, but the process is there. Perrin and Mat has little growth, and some others regressed :P .

See, I think Mat changed greatly, Jodea Sedai. Perrin remained a bit of a lump, it's true (although he did accept the mantle of leadership in the end, and this time chose duty over Faile), but Mat grew in very subtle ways. I like that he didn't lose his cheekiness/rogue-ish nature, but I feel like he definitely grew up. If I had to pinpoint a moment, it would be when he found out that Tylin was dead.

 

[Arecias Dezell]

I enjoyed Pevara in this book, because it gives a glimpse into what the Red Ajah will become in the 4th age. I think the Reds will make most of the discoveries/re-discoveries of what is possible when male and female channelers work together.

Pevara's character changed my view of the Reds, I wanted that Ajah to be destroyed when Egwene reunited the Tower. By the end of AMoL, the Red Ajah became one my favorites now that their mission is taking a new direction.
