So Brandon Sanderson has been doing a series of blog posts about his time spent as a writer for WoT. You can find the first one here http://brandonsanderson.com/the-wheel-of-time-retrospective-the-notes/ I find it very interesting. He goes into details on Robert Jordan's notes, and why he changes some scenes the way he did. He also says at some points it actually felt like he was working directly with RJ, which I thought that would be an awesome experience.

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that the blog series is out there and that it is definitely worth a read.

Edit: You definitely want to finish the series before reading this blog. Many Many spoilers:eek

Now I have even more motivation to finish the series! I was reading the Tor WoT reread blog for a bit because I loved the authors insights/recaps, but it's super spoiler-y and I had to make myself stop.

That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I'd love to read some of the "deleted scenes" that Team Jordan made Brandon take out. I think it would be kinda cool; the Perrin going into The Ways would be a cool one I think. That wasn't a SPOILER because it wasn't in the book, so don't worry, haha.

Just finished all the posts Brandon made on his blog. I always thought he had a monumental task and did a great job finishing the series, but now I have even more respect for the guy. What an incredibly difficult task he accomplished and accomplished well. Amazing job...

I agree Abaddon. I was worried that it would be horrible(I hadn't read any of his books at the time), but he pulled it all together very nicely. :clap
