@Kassidy Rose ni DaiShan t' al'Kalin, our new Online Events Coordinator, is looking for staff to work on creating fun and exciting events for all of our members and guests. The immediate need is for staff to work on our upcoming Bel Tine event, and then roll into following events. Please read over her needs, and do not hesitate to reach out to Kass or myself with any questions you may have.


Position overview

Members of the Online Events (OE) Team hold staff positions in the Department of Online Events, working with and for our Online Events Coordinator. You will help plan, prepare and execute activities. Applicants should be excited, motivated, and creative, and enjoy having fun! These positions will initially work through Bel Tine's collaborative creation for our event April 22-30, 2023.

Requirements
  • Member of TarValon.Net for 3 months of any rank, Citizen to Amyrlin Seat
  • Must be able to spend approximately 2-3 hours a week on the boards for planning, and more hours as needed during events
  • Experience and skill with graphics, creative writing, gaming, leadership or event planning is a plus, but not a necessity
  • Must be able to follow through with whatever tasks you volunteer for or are assigned to do (i.e. no disappearing halfway through!)
Duties
  • Actively participate in the planning, preparation and execution of our official freeweeks as well as other events. This can include; coming up with ideas for activities, creating graphics, writing, etc.
  • Assist in running chats for events
  • Sending out birthday greetings to our members
  • Create/alter graphics/avis, etc. under direction of the OEC
Please note that not everyone on the team has to do all of the above! Your talents and skills will determine what tasks you will be assigned.

In addition to writing and/or graphics skills, we are looking for highly organized individuals who are able to lead small groups of people on specific tasks. As a bonus, active participation on the OE Team counts as a contribution towards raising!

This looks interesting. I am starting a new job in April and I don't know what the work stack will be like - for 6 months all I will be doing is product training and familiarisation.

In the next couple of weeks I should know what the workload is like and time permitting I would love to be able to contribute.
