    I loved Slow Regard. :look ^^ It was one of my favorites read last year. I listened to it on audio and found it sweet and magical.

    You know, I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, with everyone going into quarantine, and all sports, conventions, etc. indefinitely suspended we could actually get a finished Doors of Stone out of this pandemic (and perhaps even a Winds of Winter if we're real lucky)

    I really hope so. He has no excuse now. It feels like it’s been a decade since book 2. Why is he dragging his feet so much?

    Mental illness, I believe. At least that's what I remember him mentioning? Which means a pandemic likely won't be inspiring him to write.

    I'd like to seethe next book. I don't care about Winds of Winter - if Martin ever finishes the series, I'll get both books, but I'm not going to bother reading one more that barely moves the story forward if it isn't going to ever be finished
