Honestly, Well of Ascension is my least favourite Mistborn book :look Mostly because I know the answers they are struggling with, and want them to get on with it already :tug

Are people ready to start book 2 soon? I'm almost done with the book I was reading after Mistborn and I'm ready to dive back in. :look

I said two weeks ago we'd start next week on the 2nd book. What better time to start than now, a full week after that?

Do we want to start today since it's Wednesday? Or give people another off-week?

We can start today and make it light. Prologue and the first chapter or two, next week we'll expand.

I've made a tentative reading schedule for Well of Ascension in the first post. that will take us through the end of January at 5 chapters a week.

I am unsure on the page count per chapter so when I get home I'll look it over and readjust inc are there are some chapters that are really short. I don't think this book should take two and a half months to read.

Wooo I'm excite! :joy I have it on hold at the library so as soon as it is available, I'll get started. ^^ Shouldn't be too long of a wait.

I've read the first couple chapters already. :) I was surprised that there was no prologue. :lol That seems so un-Brandon Sanderson.

Ok, I went back through and manually looked at all the Chapters.

We all seem to be pretty fast readers so I've increased the limit a bit. We're going to focus on the book in parts instead of by chapters, save for part 2, which I broke in half since it was 50% more than the other parts for the most...part.

At this rate, we will be done with the book on Christmas Eve and you can celebrate finishing a great book by celebrating your respective religious holiday!

We eased in by doing Chapters 1-3 This past week which is just 24 pages. I have updated a table in the first post so you can see what we'll be reading and when. I will also be updating this thread every Wednesday for the new week of reading! Get the first few chapters in. We're about to hit the ground running!

@Kassina Tendar I'm tagging you so you for sure see this!

It's Wednesday! You know what that means!

    WEEK TWO:
Read the remainder of Part 1 of Well of Ascension.

This is Chapters 4 - 11, and consists of 62 pages.

30-50 pages was killing me. I was doing that in a day so I figured we'd up the ante.

Right, OreSeur. I keep mixing up him and TenSoon. :look

Vin thinks her reputation is unearned... but she thinks this after just beating several Mistings and a secret Mistborn by herself. She thinks she was just 'lucky', not realizing that it was very clever of her to think to remove the Lord Ruler's bracers.

I forget who the Watcher is. :scratch I'm torn between looking it up and wanting to be surprised again. :lol

I remember, but I'll refrain from saying :p

I have to say though, this book gets even more boring when I have read the books before :look

    I'm going a bit like

Sorry. This book is not my favourite book :look
