For clarification. Does this have to be a photo that you took yourself? Or can you use something that's available per the Creative Common Usage License? Also, if it's a picture you took yourself, can you use something you took a while ago and photoshop it?

Yes, you can photoshop- it says it in the rules!

But I don't think I'll be entering, as this is not an area in which my talents lie.

Alcyon : You may use both of pictures you took yourself with things photoshopped in, and photos under photos under the Creative Common Usage License

Ty : Really you can do just about anything as I showed on my sample picture. All i did was print a picture and then placed it on top of a christmas tree and took a picture. You could probably tape the logo to your cats butt and enter it. If you have a cat, an he/she would allow such a thing ofc .

Also I should point out that the rest of the competitions will be different and use different talents and skills. Not all of the competition will be about photo related skills
