4 weeks to go!

Join the voice drive here!

Remember: You've completely banked your voice once you've recorded 3500 sentences.
When your voice is fully banked, it can be given to someone who is voiceless.
:)

Questions about the drive can be directed to Project Leader: Kitan

Questions for the Dept of Outreach go to Calen at outreach@tarvalon.net

You can do it! :D I know the hardest bit for me was the last 600 sentences. Well worth it though. I will say, even though I've crossed the 3,500 threshold, I'd still like to do more for the org.

Grats on finishing, Nandi Sedai. Providing nothing comes up, I should finish this weekend.
One thing you could do for them now would be to spread the word (pun intended) and encourage others to donate their voice. :)

Agreed. It really is a worthy cause and is a way for those who might not have available money to donate to something.

It's good to see movement on this! :joy

There's plenty of time left to both start and finish banking your voice, if anyone feels inclined to but unsure of whether it's worth beginning now.

A quick word about the delay before I get to the good part. I want to apologize for not posting the winner's faster. The team that was working on this did a great job and the fault lies with me alone. Thank you to everyone who participated this year in the event!

TarValon.Net Voice Drive Results and Winners!

At long last, here are the results of TarValon.Net's Voice Drive, which took place between June 12 and August 16.
We ended up with a total of 15 participants from 10 different groups, and together we banked more than 20 000 sentences (20 464 to be exact)!

The community group that banked the most sentences and thereby receives a sig reflecting their service is Accepted and Soldiers!

- I will speak to the head of this group and we will get a winning signature!

For our three physical prizes, we did a draw among those who fully banked their voices, using random.org.

The prize of vinyl stickers from Ta'veren Tees goes to Adanys Wynterwulf!

The prize of a Duty is Heavier than a Mountain signed print goes to Jahily al'Karee!

The prize of a copy of A Memory of Light signed by Team Jordan goes to Dnae Ila!

Congratulations to all the winners! Please contact outreach@tarvalon.net to claim your prizes. Please copy the Keeper if you could also keeper@tarvalon.net

A big thank you to everyone who participated from the Department of Community Outreach, look at what we can accomplish together when we put our minds and voices to it!

Congratulations, everyone! 20,000 sentences is a lot! Great job!

Is there potential for this to be a recurring challenge? Since those of us fully banked can't really do it again, that might help incentivise others to go for completion. (maybe?)
