I have been devouring this book. It is super interesting! It's a sci-fi future about after we left Earth and are on another world having crash landed there.

It's another one of his non-Cosmere, teen novels.

I am about halfway. I can't wait to see how this ends :)

I wonder if she will find her father, or at least what happened to her.
She will definitely fly the strange ship though. And probably save either the commander, her unit, or at least Jerkface :look

    Ok, I've finished...

I have to admit, I wasn't really impressed by the ending. The endings are also one of Sandersons weak points overall...
I know there is going to be a sequel (there is always a sequel with Sanderson :p) but to have that massive infodump in the last ten pages was not ideal...

To be honest, it didn't feel like a massive info dump to me but I figured out a lot if it before the ending, so... :cheese

I bought the audiobook, after seeing this thread actually, & thought that Sophie Aldred was a brilliant narrator. I really enjoyed the story & the premise.
    Thanks for the recommendation :ha

Stephen, where can I find that other book you mentioned? Is that the same as Firstborn?

I really liked the Reckoners Series by Sanderson.
Is Skyward more like Reckoners or Alcatraz and the Evil Librarians?
