Elo's got the right of it. It was an unrelated change, but needed nonetheless. Sorry for the inconvenience!

That has been happening to me too. I just close the window and reopen it and it resets itself.

You'll have to clear your browsers cache. In Firefox Options, go to Advanced, Network tab, "Cached Web Content", "Clear Now". Then, browse to http://www.tarvalon.net. (Note the difference between http:// and https://).

I can no longer seem to change the post/thread title where I have Mod access (I mostly noticed this today when trying to mark readiness of Shaoman events in the topic titles on the OAT board).

It worked just ducky yesterday, though ...

Is it letting you access the "Edit Thread" UI at all or just telling you that you can't do that when you try to save your changes?

Upgrade is complete. Let's see if it fixed us.

Kelgan, yesterday when I clicked "Edit Post" it would include an editbox for the post title in the editor (and would also change the thread title itself when saved if it was the first post).

Now there's only the editbox for the post body, and the title is merely static text that has no editbox at all. (This appears to still be being the case now that the upgrade has been completed, too.)

This has always been the case. You have to edit the thread and the post separately.

Re: Site Maintenance: Oct 18 2013 (evening)

Whatever you did, it made my enter key and all of my text alterations work again. Yay!! It's been months without being able to use them on IE.

I am happy. :D

 I figured out that issue -- you need to change the rendering engine that IE renders the page in. Setting it to use IE 9 standards worked for me. "Compatibility Mode" may also work.

Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupMessage::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that of vB_Model::getLoadQuery() in ..../packages/vbforum/item/socialgroupmessage.php on line 21

Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupDiscussion::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that of vB_Model::getLoadQuery() in ..../packages/vbforum/item/socialgroupdiscussion.php on line 21

I didn't even realize this was a Thing :( I'll see what I can do. Can you make sure you are using http:// and not https://?

Try clearing cache and logging out then logging back in. Let me know how that goes...

Sorry, probably a dumb question, but I'm confused... which one should we be using now, http:// or https:// ?

For now, please continue to use http://. The enhanced text editors vBulletin uses are having issue with HTTPS in some scenarios. I've got a support ticket in and I'm going to do some XTREME debugging when I get some time.
