Season 2 (spoilers for the entire season)

FIRST! No season 3 spoilers here please!

So! I just finished season 2 and OMG.
I was a bit worried mid season 1, but it is picking up! I am enjoying most of the casting and I feel like the series is doing its own thing better and better.

Casting for Moghedien looks to be AWESOME. I also love Lanfear.

Perrin is still all wrong for me, but yeah.
New Mat is so much better.

The interactions between Mat and Min in this season were top notch

New Mat adapted so well! Moghedien is not how I mentally pictured her at all but I'm absolutely here for it, SO creepy.

One of my favorite scenes in the show thus far was Mat with the Heroes appearing behind him. The music in that scene is just SO perfect. I watched s2 when it came out and even now after all that time if I hear that song, I start tearing up.

It's wild to me because in the books I thought it was neat but I would not rank it anywhere near the top on my list of favorite or most moving scenes.

Logain continues to be my favorite thing, really injects a lot of life and mania in to the character.

I'm rewatching because I remembered absolutely nothing from the recap.

Sheriam being sus as hell in episode 5. That's not compulsion, that's BLACK AJAH!

I think Season 2 is what turned me into a big Egwene fan. For the most part, her story in the show was my "favourite" and the one that got the biggest emotional response out of me. Her experience as Damane and the time and attention put on it was so well done and she really showed her acting chops! Her and the Sul'dam both did an excellent job.

Physically and emotionally. Those scenes were tense, and the performances from Madeleine showcasing the inchoate pain are just off the charts.

My favorite though, and I'm putting this in inline spoilers just because it's a such a huge moment at the end of Season 2, is her battle of wills vs Renna is so perfect. It's a perfectly lethal game of chicken, but she knows because Renna hasn't suffered what she's suffered as damane, she will break first.
