I had been wondering why we didn't get this scene in the show, after it gained so much attention with the trailers. But... it's not that interesting in the end, is it It is cool though, I agree.

I agree with Ilverin, I honestly forgot that we didn't get the scene with the colours in the series. And this doesn't add anything, if anything it makes this seem like some weird cult when it really isn't supposed to be...

Huh. I thought that was going to be a dream/vision sequence. I mean, it's interesting, but I'm wondering why the Ajah colors are there at all, unless the show is going to make the White Tower's inner workings more known in more rural areas.

My guess is that the Ajah colors are there to suggest that the Ajah colors are based on some sort of common lore from either before The Breaking or the Trolloc Wars, but that lore was lost in time just like the knowledge of Manetheren. It makes sense for them to cut it, though, to keep people from getting confused.

I remember when I saw it in the trailer I thought it was from Egwene's Accepted test. I was surprised that we might be getting that so early! Ultimately we didn't, of course.

I'm glad they released it, though! One thing I want from a DVD version of the show (if it ever happens) is a Director's Cut of either all of S1, or at least Ep 1. I'll take all the WoT content I can get. I also don't like it when a scene from a trailer doesn't make it into the final version of the show or movie. It feels like false advertising to me. So I'm glad we got to see this scene somehow.

Does anyone have the link to the other deleted scene they showed at WotCon? It was a scene between Tam and Egwene.
