I was just wondering if there is any information on the Ring of Tamirlyn in the white book. I work 6 nights a week and just don't have time to read much anymore

There is, but there's just not a lot of info for it already.

"no other wearers are known by name. Whether it was an angreal, sa'angreal, or ter'angreal of immense power is unknown, although stories often mention it was one of these. Stories tell that the ring might have been named after the first person who learned how to tap into the True Source and channel. Some other tales say it was made by that person. Contrary to popular Aes Sedai thinking, it cannot be said for certain whether it was a man or woman who first learned to channel. It is possible that the title Amyrlin is a corrupted version of the name Tamyrlin."

This is the extent of what we know of it via the white book and the companion book. The only named wearer was Lews and that was mentioned in the prologue of tEotW.

Ok that was the extent of my knowledge as well. I was hoping the white book would give us a little more.
Maybe it was like the One Ring capable of summoning the Nine Rods of Dominion

I am fairly certain that is where Jordan got his inspiration for that quote. The first book is full of LoTR symbology, after all ;)

But here, the Nine Rods and the Rings of Dominion is not evil objects :)

They could be used as such however, they are in a sense compulsion rods.
Any tool can be used to serve either the shadow ort he light, a myrdraal's sword could be used to serve the light if someone actually cared to do so. I'm quite sure it would kill shadow spawn just as well as it does everything else it cuts.
