Canon says the Amyrlin is Aes Sedai; however, our community is structured differently from the canonical White Tower, so an Amyrlin here is neither Aes Sedai nor Gaidin, since one could be raised from either to become Amyrlin.


Speculation about where I'll retire is amusing, though (I hope ) very premature. I expect to be in this position for another few years, at least.

Yeah it makes sense you would step down to Gaidin, I can see that so easily. But it would be also sad to see you officially leave red. UNLESS... you scheme to also bond a red who has the extra bond. Not that I recommend scheming, no.
