I really, really love the pants everyone wears. Honestly, if you're going to adapt to TV a world full of powerful women who travel, fight, etc, having them all in dresses all the time just doesn't feel ... likely. Realistic, maybe. Why would Westlands women ride side saddle? Why would women who can fight trollocs and throw fireballs limit themselves to dresses? It doesn't make sense to have a story supposedly dedicated to flipping the gender binary on its head keep such an obviously patriarchal cultural artifact.
