I've never seen anyone on the site use this for their avi, but I don't know a ton of people here, so smack me and let me know if someone is already using it.

But if the artist revoked permission to use that as an avatar, I'm pretty sure you're welcome to change it. Just make sure that you have artist permission this time around.

Gahylin, if you are changing yours, please send an email to membership@tarvalon.net with both avatars. As it's due to artist permission issues, it will be approved. Jeffan is correct though, make sure you have permission for the new one first please!

Do we still have the list floating around of artists who give permission for avatars? I know some did as long as you credited them, and some only did on a case by case basis. :scratch

I love avatars, and have been researching them and tracking them down for years upon years, so if you have questions about artists or whatever, I'd be happy to help in an unofficial capacity.

Haha, there is an *endless* list, literally. My only suggestion would be to take drakonis.org off the resource list because it is a really really BAD place to get avatars. They don't provide copyright information, or even who made the image in question.
