Hello, I'm Neria, nice to meet everyone. I've been a fan of the WoT series for roughly ten years (maybe a little less!). It's really hard for me to pick a favourite character (there are too many too choose from!), but if I really had to choose I think I'd pick Nynaeve. She's motherly, if I can put it that way :) I got into reading Manga (Japanese comics, for those who don't know) a few years ago, that's mainly what I read at the moment. I work for a small drawing office as an architechtural draughtsperson. Sometimes I really enjoy it, sometimes I don't :P I don't have a lot of time to be here (probably about once a week), and I'm not used to this kind of thing, so I may be a bit slow to respond.

I haven't read A Memory of Light yet (LONG story!), but I've started re-reading and am currently almost half way through Eye of the World. NO Spoilers PLEASE!!

Hi Neria, welcome to the site :) You'll find that people are generally very good about using spoiler tag for anything remotely spoilerish. Also the 14th book has its own forum, so I just recommend you stay away from there! :) Nice to have you join us :)

You can check the sites in the thread to see if one is available and the author would allow you to use it.. or you can search for something you like on google image search or something... be sure to adhere to the size and content rules. :) I found mine on deviant art I think... I'm not sure I remember though...

Me, either, though she's significantly better in the second half of the series than the first. :look:

Anyway, Hi, Neria! :D You can find avatars pretty much all over the place -- any piece of art you like is probably fine, as long as it's of a human, no one else is using it already, and the artist doesn't mind. :) Mine's from a photograph of a statue of Hestia, heh. It's... kind of a placeholder until I bother finding something I like better. :look:

Hestia, hehe. You're reminding me of one of my favourite Xena episodes - the last one of the Xena lookalikes with Liah, I think it was, the Hestian Prietess.
