It has been requested that we enable a field where members can input which gender pronouns they prefer to be known by. It took some work, but our Technology team was able to get this done for us. Thanks, team!
Some of you have already noticed it, but for those that haven't- the field is enabled in the member profile. If you go to "Personal Details" within your profile, you will see a dropdown where you can choose your pronouns.
When you fill it in, it will display under your avatar as well as in your member profile and you are able to adjust these at any time. I have filled mine in if you would like an example of what it looks like. If you are on mobile, it will not be visible in portrait mode. You have to rotate to landscape to see it, like signatures.
It is not a required field, as we do not want to force anyone to identify themselves, but we do encourage everyone to use it! There are a lot of options available but if we missed any that you need, please email keeper@tarvalon.net and we will get them added for you.
