Hi! Welcome to TarValon.net! I am Aintza Bisera, Mayor and Aes Sedai! I am excited to welcome you and hope you make yourself right at home! Below you will find some information to help you begin your journey with us!

First thing's first: there are plenty of people here to help you if you find yourself in need of assistance or simply would like someone with whom you can chat. Saying Hello:​

Post an introduction thread!

The first thing you can do to say hello is to make a new thread all about you. To do so, go back to the Introductions Forum and press the big grey button at the top that says, "+ Post New Thread." Please use spoiler tags if necessary, since the release of the show. we have some new members who have not read all of the books!

Stumped on what to write about? You can answer some or all of these questions:

1. Who is your favorite character in The Wheel of Time and why?
   
2. How did you find TarValon.Net?
   
3. What do you do? (student? job? hobbies?)
   
4. Where are you from? What languages to you speak?
   
5. What is your favorite book or author other than Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time?

Send a message!

All members can send two kinds of messages to individuals: profile messages, which are public; and private messages, which are -- surprise! -- private.

To send a private message to someone, click on their profile picture. This will create a popup. Click "Start a conversation" in the popup. This will take you to a new page, where you can compose a message. When you're done, just click "Start a conversation," and the message will send. You can also preview the message before sending by clicking "Preview message."

If you want to send a profile message, you should also click on the individual's profile picture. However, in the popup, click "Profile page." You will see a text box on this page; compose your message, then click "Post." That's it!
