Hi everyone!

My name is Jral Ganaem, and I've been a lurker here for a while, but a fellow member here (Alenya Al'Roran) reminded me that it's past time for me to make an intro post! I've been an avid WoT reader for many years now, currently working on my third(?) re-read, and still loving it. Also a member of a SW costuming club, and spend almost ALL my time on their boards, so this will be a very nice change of pace.

I look forward to getting to know all of you, and becoming a member of the community.

Tell me, who is your favorite WoT character?

Thank you Thaddius! So far, it really does seem like a great community.

As for my favorite character, I have asked myself that SO many times... I seem to always come back to Mat Cauthon. I always look forward to his passages in the books. I love his humor, his attitude, and having a power forged ashandarei definitely doesn't hurt. Whenever the dice start rumbling in his head, it always gets me pumped up.

I had always been an avid fantasy reader...and one day as I was browsing in a local bookstore years ago, someone asked me if I'd ever read WoT. I hadn't, so I grabbed Eye of the World, and was hooked ever since.
