June 2015 I joined the Tower as a Recruit and September that same year I was Raised Soldier. I only got Soldier changed to Accepted because it was causing a bit of confusion with new members after I'd aspired to the Red Ajah.

Oh, I didn't know Soldiers were allowed in the Novice/Accepted quarters. Times have changed it seems! :giggle :D I need to read up on the manual more. I forgot how fun it is once you join the community and that you can choose between so many different groups to join.

Yup ^^ Once they allowed men to join Ajahs and women Companies they got rid of most of the gender based rooms/threads/quarters/etc...

Although, I joined after it all changed so I don't know if that's exactly how it went :lol

haha! It must have been very funny at the time. I was a member a very long time ago too, maybe even around ten years ago, but I have amnesia or something because I don't even remember my own handle from then. :$ I do remember I made it to the Novice or Accepted quarters and I had a nice roomate from England. :D I wish I kept in touch with the online friends I made then in PM, but life happened and I started backpacking and travelling more and there was no such thing as smartphones and Wi-Fi. :cheese Anyway, this place is always fun to come back too, I hope it lasts forever! ^^

I'd love to go hitch hiking overseas, only to get anywhere I'd literally have to go over seas :tug

You should definitely take a vacation in Canada one day. :) The nature in British Columbia is very beautiful with the mountains, forests and beaches. I also really like Quebec for the French culture and food. Ottawa is my favourite city to visit, because it is the capital and has a lot of museums and historic places to see. The nightlife and restaurants are best in Toronto or Montreal. Italy is on my wish list too! :D What is it like there?

Italy is very beautiful and have a lot of different places and cities to visit or discover. There are different cities with lot of history to discover and art to see, and it you like hiking more than visiting museums or cities there are beautiful mountains in the north, with natural parks and lakes, and in the south ad well but there is also the sea which they say is dazzling (I've breve been in south Itlay unfortunately, but all the persons i've spoke to that came from there or visit there all say that ke trully beautiful). Speaking of food here we have al tipical dishes in almost every city :lol
You should visit Italy one day ^^

I'd love to go to Italy one day, particularly Venice. I'd love to see The Carnival of Venice.

Venice is one of my favourites cities! And I live "just" 40 km away from it, so i've been there countless times, really, i've lost count; and there is always something to see. But just one time at the Carnival (the time i've take the pictures for my avatar), or maybe two, and it was fantastic! I love the tipical masks from the Venice carneval!

Your Avi from the Carnival? Now I have more reasons to like it!!

What's your favorite Carnival mask? Mines the Medico della peste.

Actually I don't have a favourite one, I like them all, and during the carnival you can see all of them, and are all beautifully designed. It is really something to see at least once ^^
