She passed away yesterday, a great author, poet and an amazing woman. She will be greatly missed and her works will always stand as an example of inspiration, power and love for humanity. In her own words ‘If you get, give. If you learn, teach’.

    The Lesson

    I keep on dying again.
    Veins collapse, opening like the
    Small fists of sleeping
    Children.
    Memory of old tombs,
    Rotting flesh and worms do
    Not convince me against
    The challenge. The years
And cold defeat live deep in
    Lines along my face.
    They dull my eyes, yet
    I keep on dying,
    Because I love to live.

A poem of hers I always felt I could relate to:
Also, her last tweet, which is just beautiful.
    Rest in peace.
