I recently heard that the WoT language department is/ has been working with the Deaf Community to create an entirely new form of sign language.

I for one always wanted to learn Maiden Hand Talk, and now it looks like it will be possible in the near future.

I'm hoping we'll see it Season 2. I was figuring that they'd simply use standard Sign Language, but this is even better

This would be great! I hope that basing it off an existing language will make it more impactful.

I was also worried they would just get rid of that plot point altogether, as it may be difficult to explain.

Yeah, I've been waiting for years for somebody to give a crap that I ConLang'ed the damn thing. had a website and everything! But I think I've given up and am just going to see what happens.

They may only give us a simplified version of it, in which case your efforts could be instrumental for expanding it into a full fledged language.
