Library Update

As far back as September 2023, it was mentioned that an update was being worked on for the Library. I am wondering what the status of that update is?

This is on my November list.

Unfortunately life threw me some major curveballs the last 18 months (plus fighting with php), things got delayed. I’ve been getting back into the swing and have some other updates as well to finish off as well.

Us too! The library update unfortunately is complex and will involve a few days of downtime. So scheduling is always fun!

Would it be possible to get a plugin that lets people change their usernames, if they have changed their names on the boards? Or at least to put in a request for admin to change it for them?

I asked about this years ago when I was Events Historian, and I think the answer was "there is a plugin that's being looked into." I don't actually remember who was looking into it. Toral, maybe? Anyway, I'm not trying to make extra work for y'all, just wondering if anything ever came of that or if it's something than can be put on a to-do list.

I believe any plugins that we would like to install with the wiki, will need be installed with the fresh new wiki version. The version that we currently have is not supported and it's possible many of the plugins cannot even work with it anymore.
