Brandon Tat'vakja
Gaidin
Has anyone read this novella? I just finished reading it. It was alright. But my thorn with Brandon Sanderson's work is this. Everyone book of his that I have read have some great concepts and good characters. But the story just doesn't do it for me. Such as in the novella, the main character see's hallucinations of different people. He knows that they aren't really there, but still interacts with them as if they were. When he flies he gets several plane tickets for them to fly with him etc. I loved that concept. And as for the characters, the protagonist and his "people" are great. But the story just did live up to the concept or characters. I had the same reaction when I finished reading his Mistborn Trilogy.
