I’m also doing a re-read, which I started at the end of last year. I think I’m on book 8.
Great, I'm nearly at the end of my re-read!
When y'all re-read Dresden Files, do you start at Storm Front or do you do what many others do and start on Grave Peril?
I started my reread with Storm Front and have been reading the stories where they belong.
This being only my second reread, I'm just reading the novels in order and if I get burned out reading them I'll do the short stories, but otherwise, I'll do them at the end. I just finished the first book, so it's on to book two soon!
It is interesting seeing how Butcher is figuring out Harry so far. I know he's not 100% inside the authors head, but he's getting there. Also I can't wait until he finally gives in and tells Karen about the White Council so they can be honest with each other. The secrets are for the birds
He has now written the classic "The End." on his social media so the book's finished apart from revising now!
I am eager!
Starting on Skin Game now. Almost caught up!
I love it when he finally starts .... y'know exercising regularly so he can run away from baddies instead of him having to stand and fight them
Never heard of this series until now, and thanks to your gif I am going to give it a shot. Whenever I see an animal running crazy around someones house I always yell parkour, parkour! because of that scene.
Yeah, well I don't really see Harry actually doing Parkour, I see him yelling it because it sounds cool
When you posted that gif, I actually couldn't remember if Harry ever yelled (or thought about yelling) parkour because it's definitely something he would do.
He does, two different scenes in Skin Game. At the very start and somewhere in the middle/end of middle.
Bump, any of you read the new short story with Goodman Grey in an anthology that came out yesterday (october 8th)
I have not, but I'll keep an eye out for it.
I didn't even know it was coming out. Do you know what the name of the anthology is?
Separate names with a comma.
