Hello all, So to answer the five questions: I'm a full-time student from NYC and I work part time. Although that gets switched now that its summer. I speak English. I found Tarvalon.net a little while ago actually, I was rereading the series and I would google things as I thought of them. The site was generally somewhere in the first page of results. I eventually made the decision to create an account through the discord. My favorite character, I have one from each time I've read the series. The first time it was Mat, no one else saw him for who he was, and in spite of all of his accomplishments and how far he came as a person he never got any serious thanks or recognition for it. And on some level I think he was happier that way. He was also just really fun to read. I always looked forward to his chapters. On my second read, Nynaeve all the way. She's just an unambiguously good person who will do anything to help people. She's very openly one of the most powerful people in the world and she uses it all to protect the kids from her village. Because they're her people and it's the right thing to do. She's also possibly the only Aes Sedai who sees the White Tower for what it truly is. Notable Mention--I have a soft spot for Sorilea. Sorilea is the one I carry around with me. Sometimes when I feel like I need determination or that I should be more emphatic about something, thinking "what would Sorilea do?" is really helpful. My favorite author or book other than WoT. So the friend who first introduced me to the Wheel of Time was only reading it in the first place because Brandon finished it and he was a huge fan of the Way of Kings. He read until book 3 and it never really spoke to him. But I loved it. And after I finished the Wheel of Time I read all of Brandon's work. For essentially the same reason. And they spoke to me. Not all of them on the same level, but enough. I'm not going to say his books are my favorite or that he's my favorite author, but it wouldn't be untrue if I did.
