Well, hello there. I am what I believe you would call "fresh meat."
I don't join forums very often. Buuuuut I was convinced (read: nagged, her words, not mine) by my dear, lovely, Lydia Martin. I am also new to the Wheel of Time series as a whole - I've never read the books before, though I have been interested in doing so, and I finally remembered that I could read them for free (yay!) by being an Amazon Prime member. I'm not as fast a reader as I used to be, so I'm slowly, very slowly - really, it's a snail's pace - making my way through The Eye of the World. Kindle says I have 24 hours and 30 minutes left in the book... I'm at 3%. I haven't quite decided on a favorite character yet, but my friend believes that I could be very fond of Egwene. And so far, I'm very interested in finding out more about this world.
My reality is that I'm single, newly 32, I have a Starbucks addiction, I work a thankless, occasionally revolting job at a certain shall-not-be-named Big Box Store, and my only escapes are often writing (with Lydia), reading (also with Lydia) and playing World of Warcraft (when my internet/platform feels like cooperating, also coincidentally, with Lydia). Music holds high esteem in my life. I like cooking when I can, I'm learning how to knit and crochet very badly, I have a habit of abusing commas, I intentionally abuse 'lol', and, looking back at this post... apparently I abuse parentheses, dashes and ellipses as well. Ha. Haha.
