Introducing the Library Manual

It has been a work in progress! BUUUUUUT....

The Department of Research and Records is excited to introduce the Manual of Style for all Wheel of Time book and TV series articles. The Manual of Style includes the stylistic choices that are preferred in the TarValon.Net Library. (Currently only for the English language)

However, we would also like to introduce a whole Library Manual, which includes (and will be updated with more in time) how to edit the wiki, which templates to use for Wheel of Time book and tv series articles, and how to navigate and search the Library.

This comes out just in time when the department is in search for more Editors, please check out the hiring post HERE. The Editors will be expected to follow the Manual of Style, but also the Library Manual will help them get acquainted with TarValon.Net Library's specifics.

for those that are unaware, as Archivist, the library falls under me, so I did agree to this. I've also written close to 1000 articles and have probably made edits or updates to the majority of them. Each time, resolutely using English spelling where I could

I just want to mention that a style manual has been entertained several times through the years, but , as far as I am aware, never implemented, probably because there were other things taking precedence. I am glad to have worked on this, because I learned many new things about writing, editing, and English.
