Potentially meeting up with a scout leader this month to figure out how to get his scouts their merit badge in archaeology. :D

I love being able to identify needs in a community and help address them. Even if it's not an obvious need, like helping scouts get a merit badge that they wouldn't otherwise be able to get.

We leave at 5am to go to Darlington Raceway. Many of our racers have friends in need for cleanup supplies ect. So we are talking paper towels, cleaners... and donatinv them. I hope it helps.

Contributed to two new loans through Kiva.org. My public profile link is in my sig. I love being able to use that site to help people; it is one of the main ways I'm still able to since medical issues have me mostly home-bound these days. Before, I volunteered Thursday afternoons at a local hospital's patient library, which was also fun.

I love the idea of micro loans and I am using https://www.zidisha.org/ for the same thing. :)

I had the worst experience on my bus I had a woman and a man get on on federal the man was putting a bike on the bike rack and the woman got on walk to the showed me her transfer and walk to the back then walked up front really quick and whispered in my ear that she needed help that the man that was with her had raped her. I knew there wasn't much time I hit the button to call my dispatch and told her to wait by the back door I told her when the man stepped on that I would open the back door and she could get off about that time I saw a supervisor car pull up behind me I told her to go to the man in the white SUV and tell him what you had just told me the man stepped on and I did that I let her off and stood toe-to-toe with a man accused of rape and having been through that in my life it was the most frightening thing I've ever experienced but I kept my cool I saw her in my mirror talking to my supervisor he told her to get in his car at which point he gestured for me to continue on route so I did the man was quite irritated that I had taken off and left his quote girlfriend unquote behind the police were notified and I was told later that she was taken to Adams county and filed a report on rape but the man got off at a different stop still and went off into the night but it was frightening as hell but I hope she's managed to escape all of that.
