Open Hiring: Site Designer

First off, a huge huge thank you to the wonderful @Siera al’Cere, who has decided to step down from the role after almost thirteen (!!!) years. She's been instrumental in making the site look as good as it does, and I'm so sad to see her leave the team.

That said, we're hiring for a new Site Designer! This is a Staff position within the Technology Department.

All applications are due by February 9, 2026.

Duties

• Fix/tweak/design our website and forum theme/visuals as needed
• Be available to work on a variety of projects relating to TarValon.Net's visual appearance

Technical skills

• Experience with creating/modifying themes in Xenforo
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS (PHP and JavaScript are a bonus)
• Tools and the ability to use them for this job (Photoshop, etc.)
• Graphic design skills (theory, practice, etc.)
• Ideal skills include UX and/or web/UI design.

Requirements

• Must be a member of the Tower for at least 6 months and in good standing with the Tower. Members that have a record of being active on Discord will be given priority.
• 2FA Access to discord is a requirement
• Must be active, organized, and able to pay attention to little details.
• Must have good interpersonal skills as you will be working directly with our administration.
