I am saddened to say that the wonderful Jenalla Selar is stepping down as the Outreach Activities Coordinator (OAC) after a job well done and many years of dedicated service to the Outreach Activities Team (OAT). Thank you Jenalla for all your service to Outreach Activities! 
This will mean that we will be hiring a new OAC! It is my intention to further integrate the various components of the Department of Community Outreach and to work with the next OAC to continue to host fun freeweeks, celebrate member birthdays, and also promote the charitable activities and philanthropic aspects of TarValon.Net
Position Overview
This is an administrator position in the Department of Community Outreach, working for the Director. You will help plan, prepare and execute the community's official online events as well as events of all sizes to promote our philanthropic and charitable endeavors; organize and maintain a list of member birthdays and send out birthday greetings; and manage the Outreach Activities Team. Applicants should be self-motivated, organized, and creative as well as demonstrate a desire to help create a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
Must be a member of TarValon.Net for 6 months of any rank and be in good standing
Must be able to spend approximately 5-10 hours a week on the boards, with the potential for more as free weeks near
Must be creative and a self-starter
Must be able to manage a team of people and get things done on a deadline
*While not required, any experience or ability with either graphics or creative writing is helpful!
Duties
Create and maintain a deadline schedule for our free weeks.
Manage the Outreach Activities Team, assign duties, etc .
Keep the calendar up to date, including adding new member birthdays and make sure birthday greetings are sent
Maintain or support the maintenance of Outreach Activities archives and Wiki.
Work with other departments to promote and participate in free weeks
Work with the Director of Community Outreach to create events (both small and large) that help engage our members in our philanthropic/charitable endeavors
