With Melisande Sedai's move to our Director of Events and Conferences position, we find ourselves in need of a replacement for her in our Membership Activities Coordinator role. Having brought this position out of retirement and making it her own, she's done a wonderful job for us Execs and we'll miss her there even as she takes on her new responsibilities! :hug

Having said that, here's what we're looking for. :D

Overview:

This is an Administrative position which reports directly to the Keeper of the Chronicles. The Membership Activities Coordinator (MAC) will work closely with the Executive team- the Directors, Keeper, and Amyrlin to create and maintain a comprehensive calendar of organization activities that will benefit the entire community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Keeper and Amyrlin to create and maintain the community calendar,
- Work with all Directors to learn about departmental needs, activities, etc. that need to be maintained on a calendar (examples: hirings, festivals, surveys),
- Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

- Must be a Senior Member in good standing or a Junior Member with extended community service (demoted Senior Members also count here)
- Must be willing to spend ~10 hours a week on departmental duties (this may be higher or lower, depending on what is happening at any given time)
- Be knowledgeable, or willing to learn, about various calendar software to assist the administration in deciding what setup will be best for the organization,
- Must be tactful, discreet, and able to get along with a wide variety of people, and
- Must be creative! No, really. Bring your ideas and brain with you to this position!
