We are looking to add more Graphics Development Team members!
The Graphics Development Team (GDT) are staff positions within the Department of Communications & Media (C&M). This team consists of community members with a wide variety of visual/graphic design skills. Projects include anything from banners, advertisements, logos, and icons to print material and illustrations used in official capacities by TarValon.Net. The workload for the GDT is dependent on what is needed at the time, but more artists means more flexibility when taking on projects.
This position is non-rotating and staff report to the Director of Communications & Media. Those who join the Graphics Development Team are eligible for the Pro Bono Merit. Once Pro Bono gold is achieved, the member is eligible for the Staff Merit.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Create official graphical assets for TarValon.Net.
- Update existing graphics as necessary.
- Work with team members to brainstorm and troubleshoot ideas.
- Work with other departments within TarValon.Net to manage their specific design needs.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and be able to offer and receive constructive criticism from other team members.
- Must be able to work with a deadline.
- Must be experienced in any of the following areas: graphic design, typography, illustration, and/or visual arts. All applicants are asked to submit a portfolio of work with their application, either in the form of a personal website, CoroFlot site, Imgur album, a DeviantArt account, or equivalent.
- Must have experience using graphics editing software/utilities such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, Canva Pro, Figma, Corel Painter or Draw, Paint Shop Pro, or equivalent.
- Must have been a member of TarValon.Net for at least 6 months. Applicants may be of any TarValon.Net community group.
