Hi everyone!

I am so excited about this site and forum. I have been thinking about something like this for awhile. It seems really confusing, but the longer I am on here and read through the Membership Information the more I understand.

Any words of advice would be appreciated. The following are questions I found on an earlier thread that were suggestions so other members could get to know me better.


1. Favorite WoT character and why? My favorite character is Egwene. I admire her courage and how she handles every situation.

2. How did you find us? through twitter actually! I just joined twitter not too long ago and saw tar valon.net on there which eventually led me to this site.

3. What do you do (student, job, etc)? I work full time as a Customer Service Coordinator at an online auction company.

4. Favorite book/author (other than WoT)? Peter Rothfuss is amazing and I love his Kingkiller Chronicles.

5. Anything you need help with? There is nothing I can think of specifically. Anything you think I *should*know as I learn my way around?

I noticed that above your avatar it says you are an Accepted, but your signature says you are the Green Ajah's Librarian. I am confused and would love clarification on how this can be?

Kassidy is a Green Aspirant, which means, when she is raised, she will be a Green. In Green, you don't have to be a full Aes Sedai to be our Librarian. Just a member of the Ajah. As an Aspirant, she qualifies. And she's doing an amazing job, btw.

Thanks for your welcome Anika Sedai. I was studying in England and a fellow student said I would not be able to resist the series! He was completely right. I have even sucked my husband into the series
Patrick Rothfuss does an amazing job at creating a world that is unlike the one we are in, just like RJ, but close enough to feel a part of it. I would highly suggest checking it out! The first book in Kingkiller Chronicles is The Name of the Wind. SO far he has only written two of the books and it is killlling me - I want the next book now.
