Viktara wanders past carrying a large basket. She is wearing a comical, brightly colored rendition of a trolloc's horns and armor over her usual clothing--a chaotic riot of rainbow, glitter, horns, and spikes. In the basket, if one were to sneak a peek, one might spot candies wrapped in colorful paper and even a few honeycakes, small tarts, and cookies. She approaches and offers the basket to Kenulin.

I like TV show well enough. I take it as its own thing, as a kind of parallel universe separate from the books.

How about you, though? What do you like and dislike about the show? And if you've gotten into the books, what do you like and dislike about those?

I really like that the world is fully realized. You can tell that there's more history and personal stories in it than you could ever know. It's fun watching with my boyfriend too because he can point out to me how things are connected, even if the show doesn't make it clear.

I think my main issue with the series was the quality; it just felt a little cheap. Like the scene where they're running through the forest away from the wolves, you could tell the forest was small and the wolves weren't even there. Moments like that make me sad the producers didn't put more effort in.

What kind of things do you particularly like to draw? And is there anything you'd rather chop your arm off than draw?

Great question! I did pet portraits for a while and realized I love drawing cats but I hate drawing dogs. Something about their noses is really difficult for me.

Hahaha Jay thinks I won't like them and he tends to be a really good judge of what I'd like. I'd try it out! But no need to buy a copy. I can get it from the library or something.
