A little about me... Well, I'm 26, I have a husband and an almost 2 year old son, as well as a fat cat and sweet dog. I'm from Oregon, recently spent 4 years living I'm the Panhandle of Texas, and just moved back to Oregon in the last month.
I heard about this site from other members who happen to also be members on Dragonmount.com, where I am an active member. I just love Wheel of Time communities, and have heard many good things about this site, so I decided to pop over and check things out for myself.
As far as things I enjoy, right now I'm staying home with my son, I have a job set to start Feb 5th and to be honest... I am so ready. I love my son, but being a stay at home mom, while staying with my in laws, is simply exhausting. I am really impressed by those who can do this all the time. Normally I work in the banking industry, which is where I am starting a new job next month. On a personal level, my hobbies are of course reading, video games, dungeons & dragons, and kind of trying to get into painting.
The Wheel of Time has had such a huge impact on my life, it is forever my favorite series. I've also come to love Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere, he is a very impressive writer. Otherwise I've loved the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix, the Pern books by Anne McCaffrey, DragonLance books, the Star Wars EU, and so much more.

I hope your first day at work goes well when it comes! I'm another "couldn't be a SAHM forever" person. Hats off to those who can do it, but it's definitely not for me.
