Please, feel free to call me Sea. :)

What other kinds of things are you interested in?

Sorry Sea, I completely missed your question the first time I read your post :embarassed:. When I'm not reading, I'm into computer games (mostly WoW is all I have time for at the moment), baking (unsuccessfully, but my 3-year-old enjoys the process), horse-riding, , walking, and catching up with TV which I routinely miss and end up TiVo'ing :rofl At the moment my "current" favourites are Dr Who and Grey's Anatomy. Glee season 4 starts for us in January and I'm excited about that. Um... other than that I can't think of anything else! Between studying and my children I don't feel I do much else :rofl

BTW, Ealandrelle ... when you get full Citizen access here, check the Entertainment & Technology forum. There's a list being built of people's WoW character names and servers as well as Battle.net IDs for friending, and I think there's another WoW thread lurking around there somewhere. :)

Thank you again Amarande Gaidin. I've seen the thread - it seems most of you are on the US servers unless I read it wrongly? I'll definitely look into the Real ID post if/when I successfully become a Citizen :)

Welcome, Ealandrelle. Cool name. :)

Thank you! I only realised afterwards that I should have thought of a surname too - that one may be more difficult!

And thank you too to Nymala Sedai, Raevyn Sedai, Nandi Sedai, Roheryn and Yarrow for the welcomes :) I didn't want to multi-quote everyone, as I think my reply would then have been more quote than post :rofl

Who is your favorite Doctor? Companion? Monster?

David Tennant was my first Doctor, but I'm hopelessly in love with Matt Smith. Rory is my all-time fave companion, and the running jokein my house is that he is the "Last Cent-rory-an." It's totally stupid, but still hilarious! I'm totally terrified of the Weeping Angels. No bones about it. :indifferent:

I am torn between Matt Smith and David Tennant, from the new series. Every time I think Matt has replaced David, I watch another David episode and my heart melts all over again. So really, I have to say that they are my joint favourites. What I would have loved is if Stephen Moffat had taken over before David left, as I think the writing and general story-telling is far superior to when Russell T Davies was in charge. I felt like Davies just lost his way at the end, and I don't think the stories all did Tennant's ability justice. When you look at him in the likes of "Silence in the Library/Forests of the Dead" (which Moffat wrote), I think he truly shines then.

I grew up with Dr Who though, so Tennant and Smith have to compete with Tom Baker too, for me ;) He is my favourite of the "old" Doctors.

In terms of companions, I love Amy and Rory, equally :) After that, Rose and Donna pretty much share second place, then we have Captain Jack, then Mickey and finally Martha. I really disliked Marth :rofl From the old companions, clichéd as it is, Sarah-Jane Smith remains my favourite, though Romana is a close second :)

Monsters... this is a tough one. I join you in being absolutely, pant-wettingly terrified of the Weeping Angels. From the moment they were introduced in "Blink", they've been the stuff of nightmares for me. I also liked "The Family" (which is brilliant because the DVD with "Blink" on it also has the two "Family" episodes!). I liked the Daleks in the old series, when they were, y'know, scary. Like in "Genesis of the Daleks" - that was a scary mini-arc. Never been bothered about the Cybermen. In terms of one-off monsters, I really liked the flying Shark from the Christmas special with Katherine Jenkins :)

The three-year-old is my eldest :) My youngest turns 10 months tomorrow. Both girls :) How old are your children now?

As Sea said, Whovians are all over. :giggle
Riders aren't as populous, but there are some of us here! We've got a whole thread about horses hanging around if you ever want to talk about them! :D

I do believe I found it already ;) It does seem as though between WoT, Dr Who and horses, I've found a good place to be ;)

I saw that after I posted here. :)
As long as you don't mind the insanity that all three together involves... XD

What we need is an episode where The Doctor ends up in Randland, and then rides a horse about, sorting things out ;)

Maybe it's time I bust out my colored pencils and sketchpad again. . . :look: Comic strip, anyone?

I love this idea :D I wonder if The Doctor will tempt anyone into going away as his Companion...
