I first read WoT when introduced by a friend in the Marine Corps. Now, I've been through most of the books twice, all of them once, and I'm working my way through them again. I just can't stay away from a good book. I am a member of the Star Wars fan community and an administrator for one of the fan groups, and reading these books again got me interested in seeing if there was a WoT community, as well. I am also a casual cosplayer and have fun attending conventions and meeting people who love the same things I do. I look forward to being a part of this community.

I'm a big Star Wars fan as well, and at one pointed comissioned a proper Jedi Knight outfit to cosplay with (wanted to join the Rebel Legion), but the seamstress totally botched every part of the costume, and it was a thousand bucks down the drain Now I have a couple of inexpensive cosplays, like Matt Smith's Dr. Who, and Christian Slater's Mr. Robot. For this con season I'm now putting together a Captain Disillusion cosplay -- a little obscure, but awesome none the less :P

Anujun, I went to Dragon Con last year as Golden Age Flash and randomly met the actor who played him on TV in an elevator. You never know who will recognize your costume. For Star Wars, I went with the Mandalorian Mercs. Inexpensive and customization options galore.
