Or rather, more accurately, night, for me.

I have been a lone WoT fan for many years (mostly because I live in a rather backwoods area where many find it fun to surprise one another with obnoxious car horns) and happened upon this site mostly by accident. I hope to make some friends and talk about my favorite book series. Perhaps I can find some allies in time for Tarmon Gai'don, eh?

I am a fan of sparring, meditation, video games, reading, political discussion, religeous discussion, discussion in general, tea, beaches, freeform jazz, and over-dressing for any occasion.

Anywho, this place seems interesting, Alii iacta est.

Ahhh, Legend of Dragoon and FF8. I need to finish those someday, only got so far in LoD before my brother moved out and took the game with him, though I can get it for my PS3 via PSN now ... FF8, I got about halfway through, quite slowly mostly thanks to a rapidly developing Triple Triad addiction, and then my old PS2 that I was playing it on wouldn't let me finish it! Specifically - (spoiler tags for those who have not played FF8 to this point)

There's a part about halfway through the game - on the PS1 disc version, it was towards the end of Disc 2 - where you have to do a fighting minigame with a Galbadian soldier. Every time I would get to that place, I'd take one action and then the game would simply freeze, IIRC the music kept playing, but the soldier wouldn't act and no controls would respond and I'd have to reset. I checked my discs carefully for scratches but couldn't find any ... guessing it was probably a bug with the game on the PS2.
