That was a subtle, amused way to say that I was a sheltered, homeschooled person who had their eyes opened a little about the gay community via reading WoT. :P So it does happen. *points to self amusedly*I would HOPE this is the case, however, I'm not sure conservative, homeschooled teens are socially allowed to read WoT, lolz. WoT is not very big in my area, nor fantasy in general sadly, but I remember what happened when teens here started reading Harry Potter like crazy and parents took the books away, tried to exorcize the kids, made them to go to church more, etc. It was insane times. Made me switch churches! (And now I don't go anymore at all, but that's another story.) I cross my fingers though that some sheltered kids wander into the fantasy section of B&N and pick up TEoTW and get hooked! (Or even their parents...)
