Okay, so I've read Wheel of Time multiple times, but this is my first time using this site. Anyway, I've never seen this theory before, but does anybody else like to believe that the Game of Thrones occurs within one of the Wheel of Time ages. I know a character in the Game of Thrones mentions an author with a name similar to Robert Jordan's other actual name as having written about this theory that life is a circle, and I thought that was so cool and since then I've always looked at the Game of Thrones as a different age within the Wheel of Time. Especially since there are actual dragons in the Game of Thrones, and nobody in WOT has any idea what dragons are or where they came from.

Does anybody else look at The Game of Thrones this way?

That's an interesting theory that never occurred to me. I know that Jordan and Martin were friends.

The mechanisms of "magic" appear to be very different though.

Not discounting it, just thinking I'm gonna need more evidence.
